Fp Surveying is an expanding Surveying business looking for a full time, enthusiastic and motivated Customer Service Assistant who is looking for a rewarding career helping people to arrange survey and valuation reports. This role will be suited to a self-motivated individual who works well in an office environment performing quality customer service support.

What your day may look like
You will start your day by checking your emails so that you can deal with any customer enquiries from the evening before, your day is going to be all about offering exceptional customer care.
There will be a number of people who have requested a quote who you will need to get back to ASAP and a number of people who have booked valuations who are waiting for a confirmation. All this before the kettle has even boiled!
Once these are out of the way, you may want to follow up some of the quotes you may have given out over the last few days to make sure that the potential customer does not have any further questions. The trick here is to help people to make good decisions and converting quotes to instructions is the name of the game.
The work begins when we receive an ‘instruction’ as this is where we need to package up the submission and take payment. Communication is key, keeping the client informed all the way. You will be the link between the customer and the Surveyor and this a crucial role. Coordinating diaries between the two is a skill and when successfully done, it makes life easy for everyone.
Hopefully, you would have had a look around our website. You are going to get people who like to use the Live-Chat facility, request a callback or use the contact us page. Living by the Golden Hour rule, getting back to these people quickly will help us secure more business. Sometimes, you are not going to know the answer to the questions (even we struggle) and that’s where you can arrange for a Surveyor to call back to help the customer.
Feedback is something we love to hear, you will take great pleasure in hearing the outcome of your work when you follow up customers asking them to review our service. You will be responsible for collecting this feedback and presenting to the business on a weekly business in a report.
You may identify a client who lives in an area that we do not cover… When this happens, you will need to work off your own initiative and identify a local surveyor and introduce them to FP Surveying and the potential for working together.
What your day will never look like
Well, no two days will ever look the same and this role can be as big (or as small) as you want it to be. It has the potential to scale with a business that you will be helping to grow. If you see yourself running a team in the future, this could be for you.
Applicant must be customer-focused with an excellent telephone manner, be computer literate and able to work on own initiative. You will be a self-motivated individual that does not wait to be asked to do the obvious. If you know how to put the customer first and make people feel valued, this could be the role for you.
